The first sign was a dead rat. I then knew in which direction to. I kept following the road until I noticed an entrance to a previously closed off area. It was now possible to walk on the empty construction site as there were no workers present. I took the opportunity to get myself through the gate and rediscovered this old tunnel which I already passed through back in my teens. <img width="3648" height="2432" width_o="3648" height_o="2432" src_o="https://cortex.persona.co/t/original/i/d579eaf47092b75c3e5c00f639e2f45e59891ee8832420cf0bde5d2fc5c01b44/DSC02833.JPG" data-mid="1353586" border="0" /> <img width="3648" height="2432" width_o="3648" height_o="2432" src_o="https://cortex.persona.co/t/original/i/7563f5d48e4ee2fcfac2ca7bf1a2b1086da183d5f9b2f73b505e32cb28fe5371/DSC02834.JPG" data-mid="1353588" border="0" /> Since it was now a construction site I looked around to find something else. That’s when I came across this other tunnel. It caught me with such authority that I had to take it in first. It looked surreal with the stony ground, some of them jutting out like spikes. I walked towards the spiky landscape to see where the tunnel would take me. A depiction of a triangle was facing my presence. I took it as a sign, but I think it didn’t help me much in my exploration. The next thing that caught my attention were these feathers. Who depilated a pigeon in the woods? I was mesmerized by it. I believe I've found the reason for the loose feathers. I was looking at it very closely, sucking in every detail of it. I guess this was the end of my discovery. It was kind of a dead-end and I don’t think the goal was to bring the decomposed carcass with me (I would have liked though…but no use for the future) This means the next thing that will need to be done, will be to explore the new tunnel and see where it leads me to. Chances are, I might find out who was culpable for the depilation.
